Hypnosis Would it surprise you to learn that you have experienced hypnosis many times already? As you woke up this morning, and maybe thought lazily about what you were going to do today. Just as you drifted off to sleep last night, those few moments of drowsy peacefulness. It's a completely natural altered state of awareness that we all experience, when we focus our attention on one thing to the complete exclusion of everything else.
